Little Finds
The kids decided one day at school that they would collect tad poles from the water retention pond and "raise" frogs at home. They collected 20 or so of these teeny tiny creatures in water bottles we had in the car and brought them home. We put them in open large tupper ware containers on our back steps and waited. Noah and Ella insisted on changing their water regularly and giving them "rides" down an old piece of pvc pipe. Noah did some research on-line to see what they might like to eat - so yes I actually spent time boiling lettuce. Well needless to say only one little guy/girl made it. But SO cool to see God's way of creating right before our eyes. I love the wonder that kids have at watching and waiting.

Out in the Country
Recently, we took a few days to go to Martinsburg, PA to visit with Raymond and spend time with Dad and Rhonda. We had lovely weather and enjoyed our visit very much! The kids just love exploring new places and were thrilled to be on a little adventure. The house we stayed in was perfect for all of us! The countryside was just beautiful - rolling hills and twisty two lane roads. So quiet and peaceful. Everyone at Homewood was so sweet and it seems like a truly lovely place for Raymond to live.
Richey's Dairy - YUM!
Gravity Hill - where water runs up hill:) We also tried a ball and our stroller - both rolled up hill. After turning our car around we put it in N and our whole car rolled up hill too.

Dancing Girls
Our girls both took dance classes this year. They both love and adore their teacher Ms. Jen Aversa and their friends in class as well. They finished the year with a recital - 3 to be exact - and both did a lovely job!
