First time in a pool

We got to visit with our friends the Wilson's over Memorial Day. They moved to North Carolina, but came "home" to see friends and family.  We were invited to Mary's parents pool for the afternoon. Jake got to go swimming for the first time ever - he loved it!

Window Boxes

The girls, Jake and I went to the nursery to buy flowers for our window boxes.  I was especially happy to be planting again, since I did not have the energy last spring.  I love picking flowers and arranging them together.  Here is what we came up with this year.  Yellow, orange, red and white out front. And pink, purple and white out back.  Of course we didn't buy nearly enough and will be headed back tonight for more, but that's okay, it's so cheerful - love flower shopping and planting!

Playtime

Jake loves to sit on the floor and play!  He especially loves Little People toys.  The farm is probably his favorite toy - very special since it was Zach's one year birthday present from mom and dad.

Mother's Day 2014

I was spoiled today! Sweet hugs, cards and just generally a happy crew for their mama.  Belgian waffles with all the fixings, bacon, eggs and cinnamon rolls.  Restful and sweet!

No matter where we put this bunny Theo ALWAYS finds it, pulls it out and carries it to this carpet and leaves it. Dogs:)
